Club History
The market for the Japanese, British and American cruiser
style motorcycles are rapidly expanding, but here in South Australia
there are no clubs that that cater for these types of bikes unless
you look at the various Harley and brand specific organisations,
so a couple of enthusiastic blokes who saw this gap in the bike scene decided
to form a social club for the riders of cruiser style motorbikes.
The club was formed in January 2001 and began operating in March.
We hope to encourage many riders, men and women, young and old to join
in and become part of South Australia`s first club for riders of cruiser motorcycles.
Our Aim
We intend to provide a social club that not only meets for social gatherings
and outings but will also provide a friendly family atmosphere. On many occasions
the club will encourage the members family, friends and children to become
involved with a club run or function.
Members may attend as many or as few club
activities as they wish without adverse criticism.
Current members are encouraged to make friends with new members to make them feel welcome.
We also encourage members to put new ideas forward on how to improve the club as it grows.
We have regular monthly meetings held at the Cowandilla Social Sports Club, Richmond.
There is no age limit
We will promote safe motorcycle habits.
We will have regular BBQs when possible, regular fortnightly rides and weekend rides for those
who just want to get out and blow the cobwebs away.
So don`t just take our word for it, come along on a couple of our runs and see for yourself !
