Riding Guide

* Arrive at the departure point with a full tank of fuel.

* Be ready to move within 5 minutes of Ride Captains address.

* Ride Leader always leads the group and is not to be overtaken under any circumstances.

* A staggered ride formation is recommended, not side by side or directly behind each other.

* Leave a minimum 2 second gap between you and the rider in front.

* Riders use only 1 lane of dual highways

* Always indicate any position changes, use head checks and mirrors prior to moving
or pulling out to pass.

* Do NOT pass another rider on the inside.

* When passing slower vehicles try to maintain a gap so following riders have.
somewhere to go if they are following your maneuver.

* Statutory speed limits are to be observed at all times.

* At rest stops it's your responsibility to be re-fuelled (bike and rider) in the allotted time.

* Slower riders and first time riders should start near the tail of the group until familiar
with riding in a group.

* In the interest of public safety and the reputation of YOUR club, unacceptable displays of road rage or burnouts ect, will not be tolerated.

* When riding below the speed limit do not impede other vehicles, drop back to allow gaps to form.
Our club is on display so be courteous.

* If you intend to leave the group you must inform the Ride Leader or Tail End Charlie prior to leaving.

* Rides will not be altered or changed after the ride has commenced unless deemed hazardous
by the Ride Leader.
